The Rise of Patridiots

Anti-national!

Paki!

Traitor!

Gaddaar!

It is like a zombie movie where half of the nation has already been converted into certified bhakts who speak a single language of ( so-called) ” Patriotism” and rest are running here and there to save their free speech, for their rights to criticize, to differ, to disagree. Some of them give in due to fear, some because of greed and rest are hiding, some still fighting an almost lonely battle.

We can see this divide very clearly. It is like Black and White, like ‘Patriots’ and ” Anti-nationalists”, like ‘Proud Hindu” and Sickular, like Bhakt and Paki and like Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher. It is everywhere, it is reaching deep in the core of society. People are getting killed in this nation for their choice of food. People are being tortured and murdered for claiming their democratic rights.

You come to know that intolerance has reached its height when a restored Pakistani classic ‘Jago Hua Savera is removed from International Mumbai Film Festival schedule ( Jio MAMI  with Star). The movie is directed by a Pakistani director but there are many other Indian actors and technicians who worked in the movie. Thanks to these “Bhakts”, the “Patriots”, the “Idiots”  that movie lovers will never be able to see it on big screen. I wish that somebody doesn’t give this idea to these Patridiots to ban Chinese movies too because then the festival will be in trouble.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

The other recent incident is the ban on a movie  “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil ” produced and directed  by Karan Johar. Poor Karan Johar would have never thought in his dreams that his hard work will be discarded by his own industry people. Banning a movie (which is made in millions) because some Pakistani artists worked in it is such an illogical and stupid idea that whoever supports it,simply proves that he/she has no sense. The suggestion to ban our own movies in our own country because Pakistan bans our movies in their country can only come from a person who has no sense at all and who has no love and respect for the economy of our country.  The artists from Pakistan are working in India since the beginning. Why did our government allow those artists to enter the country? Who did give them Visa and permit to work in India? Yes, obviously our government did it. In fact, there is no effect on normal India- Pak trade after Uri attack and one of the closest friend of Prime Minister Modi, Mr. Adani is gearing up to start a power project in Pakistan with relatives of Mr. Nawaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan. So, why are they targeting “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil ” and “Raees”, the movies which had already been completed when there was no Uri attack. In fact, there is still no official ban on Pakistani artists and trade from Government of India. The government can very conveniently say that they don’t have any hands in banning these movies but the question is why don’t  they come forward and tell that it is wrong to crush a businessman by these stupid bans who has already put so much hard work, hard-earned money and reputation in these projects. There are thousands of other workers and technicians from lower to upper rank who work on a movie to make their ends meet.  Shouldn’t we consider this silence, this inefficiency of government to protect the democratic rights of citizens as a mute consent?

Since Modi came into power in May 2014, many of us have been hearing  and reading  above mentioned abuses ( on top) most often. When Manmohan Singh was in power, we were free to mock our most educated and seasoned Prime Minister with words like ‘ Chamcha’ , ‘ remote control’, ‘ weak’ etc. etc. but now even a single word of criticism against Modi and his policies can make you entitled of these adjectives.

Earlier, we thought that these words are just an expression of some over-enthusiastic bhakts and this is limited to comments on Facebook posts and twitter but suddenly we see that things are taking a dangerous turn and practically threatening to change the entire fabric of our secular country. The outbursts of over-enthusiastic bhakts is just not only an expression but a well-thought out policy which has a silent approval of our government. In fact, time to time, they endorse this theory that whoever raises a question is a traitor and very conveniently they call it a new revived “Patriotism” which came into existence with Modi.

A most FORTHRIGHT BLOG from a SATIRICAL CARTOONIST whose cartoons speak volumes as does this blog on how the EMBOLDENED RIGHT WING SANGHI BHAKTS of the present ruling faction have been mercilessly BEATING to DEATH not just “FREEDOM of SPEECH”, but also FREEDOM to EAT the FOOD one LIKES, to Marry a person one loves/likes, to celebrate a innocuous Friendship day or Valentine’s day etc and even going to the extent of KILLING PEOPLE on mere suspicions of BEEF EATING etc! Verily the nation is in a FREE FALL in to LAWLESS MOBOCRACY where the RIGHT WING SANGHI ILLITERATE LUMPEN & GOONY MOBS take LAW in to their own hands on some pretext or the other like Proclaimed & Self Certified COW PROTECTION (EXTORTION) RACKET etc!

Very clearly the nation is heading towards becoming a FASCIST STATE where only the SYCOPHANTS and CHAMCHAS of the FEKU-JUMLBAZ’S Government from the extended HYDRA HEADED SANGH PARIVAR only will have RIGHTS to even MURDER while those even remotely CRITICAL of this “BHARASHTACHAR”- ” JUMLABAZ-FEKU’S-AMBANI-Jio-SALES CENTER”- “PARTY” government will be HOUNDED for expressing any kind of dissent!

Under these CIRCUMSTANCES our LIBERAL INDIAN CIVIL SOCIETY has to GEAR UP for putting up UNBENDING RESISTANCE to this FASCIST TAKE OVER of our DEMOCRACY, using all the DEMOCRATIC MEANS at our disposal and prevent the SAVAGES from TURNING INDIA in to a THEOCRATIC OPPRESSIVE STATE like PAKISTAN has become with TOTAL LAWLESSNESS and almost like a STATE in a PERPETUAL STATE of CIVIL WAR!
